A Simple Idea that will make Big Differences

Simple Idea was set up in the spring of 2004 by Simon Hedley, with the support of some of the industries brightest and successful designers.

It was set up to meet the obvious need for a quality, affordable, simple elegant solution to a common problem in an apparent "buyers" market. That market is the internet and IT. The need being for an online web prescence, brand design and simple explanation of the technology available.

At the same time it allowed its founder to make a difference. Something which we think should be important to everyone.

A solution was sought, but often companies were charging £££s for a simple service that we knew would take only a hour or so of work. This did not seem fair or practical for many of the people who we talked to, and for the many companies and friends who were asking our help.

More and more small companies, charities, associations, organisations and colleagues wanted to get a website to highlight their activities. They wanted the registration to be taken care of as well as effective hosting and a very simple design. They had small budgets but were flexible in approach.

They wanted to be given 1-1 training and be provided with advice from a person not a big corporate "entity".

Simple Idea meets these needs and continue to provide technology and advice to allow simple ideas to make Big Differences.

The founders of the Simple Idea have been involved with computers and the internet since their inception from the BBCs of the early 1980s. We have collectively helped produce over 1000 websites and look forward to an exciting future with you.

You can trust in people to do what they have done before.
